Combining movement,
drama, and music, this program provides a broad range of creative interactive
experiences. Children use rhythm instruments, listen to music, sing
songs, and dance. Coordination, sequencing, and rhythm skills are developed
through these activities. Children act out stories, explore motions,
experiment with expressive body movement, play games, and learn body
awareness. These activities build self-esteem and encourage self-expression.
Children work as a group and contribute individual ideas.
Classes are held
twice each month and are twenty to thirty minutes for each classroom.
This program is made available through the Parent Committee's fundraising
efforts.
